Roberto Cavalli opened his new Parisian boutique this week with a glittering party and A-List guestlist.
The new three-floor store on the Rue Saint Honore is true to Cavalli form – with a space age chandelier, chocolate-effect floors and plenty of gold, packed with everything from his most recent collections, to crystal balls and handcuffs.
Champagne flowed all evening – with stars including Adriana Lima, Diane Kruger and Kanye West and his girlfriend Amber Rose all there to celebrate the designer’s success. Milla Jovovich, who looked incredible in a white embroidered Robert0 Cavalli S/S 09 dress with black ribbon was also there, following her recent collaboration with the designer for the launch of the Cavalli Club credit card.
Even Peaches Geldof made it to the party – looking particularly glamorous in a black, asymmetric gown – a contrast to the more casual and edgy outfits she had been wearing at Milan Fashion Week.
